Of course, this is not everybody’s cup of tea - I’m sure the sucker legs are enough to put many off! However, I personally am a massive fan of this squid in barbecue sauce off a street stall. Yum!

After a long day wandering around Xidan shopping plaza looking for the best bargains and getting elbowed by eager chinese shoppers, we returned to the red lantern for some beers. At 3 kuai (20p) a 600ml bottle, you can’t complain. So much so that it doesn’t even matter who gets the round!

Luggage arrived yesterday!
Finally had some fresh clothes to put on and could have a proper wash.
Just been strolling around with some people from the hostel. Hopefully take some photos soon and get them onlineï¼?
