We took a boat trip from Guilin to Yangshuo today. Had a gorgeous lunch at a locally-run restaurant and then floated down river on a barge, stopping for the views and the occasional dip in the remarkably warm water. Our accommodation for the next two nights is lovely so a couple of days of chill out are required

Yeah flickr is blocked here officially but there are many ways round. I carry round a portable version of firefox on a USB key that has a plugin which automatically bypasses the flick block. Just use it at any computer, its great.
Assume that you are now in China then. Trust you are having a good time

Hello!
I am indeed in China now. I am having a good time but I arrived in Dandong today after 14 hours of hard seat train from Beijing. Didn’t sleep much on the train but I made some friends who I’m spending today with. It’s absolutely pissing it down with rain here which is such a bugger as most of the things I planned to do here were outside. I’m off tomorrow to Changchun which I severely hope will be better weather.
How do you install plugins on the portable firefox? I have the portable firefox although I’m using actual firefox that’s on this internet cafe computer.
Where are you now?

Hi We can see you’re all having a fantasitic time! The food looks delicious and the scenery…wow! Tell ‘Aged Ps’ that all’s well at home although the tomatoes are ripening so fast that there may be none left by the time they get back!
