… and that we would probably rather not!

Here’s what you could get at the ‘fresh’ counter at the Cash and Carry where me and Siqi get all our foreign foods from. It seems the Chinese will sell any sort of seafood or fresh fish over the counter, whether its ’sustainable’ or not. Not sure if you fancy a serving of Turtle or Bullfrogs - but one thing is for sure… you certainly won’t catch me making one!

Apologies for not having updated the blog for a week or two now. I’ve been pretty busy over the last couple of weeks and the Mid-Term exams have begun - so I’ve been doing a bit of revision over the last couple of days. Wish me luck!

Despite the heavy work load (which should ease off after Wednesday (last exam), I managed to get out with some friends from Leeds to see ‘Spectrasoul’, a UK Drum and Bass duo from Brighton who were playing at China Doll in Sanlitun (the main bar district here). Although it wasn’t a huge turnout, the atmosphere was good and we danced the night away until dawn.

Once the exams are over I’ll try and write some new posts and get some photos on here.
