There is a national holiday this Friday - which means no classes for all of us at 首师大 (Capital Normal).

Whilst I have no definite plans as of yet, me and Siqi fancy heading out to a ‘Drum & Bass’ night at 白兔子 (White Rabbit) in one of Beijing’s bar districts to let some steam off. Friday will definitely involve a lie-in and a big Chinese fry-up. If we feel up to it and the weather is good (which it hasn’t been these last few days) we may head to 香山 (The Fragrant Mountain) to stretch our legs.

As for the rest of the weekend… everything remains to be seen. Hopefully I can catch up with some fellow Capital Normal students and maybe have some people round here for dinner. I also fancy picking up my chinese copy of Harry Potter 3 again - it’s been a bit neglected over the last couple of weeks (much to my frustration) as I have been too busy with other things.

As for my small eBay business (I’ve been selling lots of clothes to the UK and other parts of the world to make some pocket money) - I sold my last Abercrombie + Fitch Hoody today and am now going to try and sell some t-shirts as the weather steadily gets warmer. Have to see how things go…

No more updates for now, maybe some photos to follow soon.

    Hey,

It’s cool that we get a holiday this week. I’m off to Shandong with my classmates.

So your things that you’re selling are fakes or genuine? They look pretty genuine to me but it is China…….

Your adverts look very professional, really good. There’s one spelling mistake I noticed ‘courrier’ under postage and packing doesn’t have 2′r’s.

Also, be careful about the location thing. As you state in the listing that you’re (personally) sending it from Beijing people could report you as your location is written as the UK ’since ____ in United Kingdom’. There are lots of UK sellers who report people for this it’s called ‘misrepresenting location’ I think. It’s because your listings will show up in competition with theirs and obviously yours will be cheaper because of the postage.

    Hey Josh

Sounds like fun - what are you doing in Shandong? Where are most of your classmates from?

Cheers for spotting me the spelling mistake, I’ll correct it when I have a moment but can’t imagine that many people will notice. As for the location thing, I don’t think it should be a problem as I haven’t seen anybody else who is selling the same things.

Think I’m just gonna have a chillout this weekend - in need of some rest already; and we’re only a few weeks into the semester.

    Anyway, have a great break.

We’re going to Qufu I think and Jinan as one of my classmate’s girlfriend is from there. It should be cool provided we get slightly organised….About half my class is Korean but in total we’re 7 nationalities in our big class: Italian, Mongolian, Japanese, English(just Ruth and I) ,Thai and Russian.

Ok I just mentioned the location thing as I used to go on the ebay forum and there were quite a lot of people who would report things for any violation.

Yeah I will do thanks. I can imagine you would be tired with your class! I’m doing the book you were doing last term.
