The weather has been fine this week in Beijing - in fact I don’t think I have ever seen the sky so blue in China before. Me and Siqi seized the opportunity on Friday and went for an afternoon walk up The Fragrant Mountain (香山）which lies just on the outskirts of Beijing. It was nice to get some fresh air and surprisingly warm still (still in the 20’s over here during the day!). We were also met with a wonderful glowing sunset on the summit.

No day out in China is complete without a fine meal at the end so to keep up the tradition we headed to a restaurant at the bottom of the mountain for Japanese Stir Fried Tofu and a Lamb and Noodle Soup… delicious!
